It was time
One afternoon late last week my neighbor (an occupational therapists) and I (a registered nurse) went for a walk. As we approached our homes, we began talking to a couple who were hired to do lawn work for a neighbor. As we talked, the wife told us that three weeks prior her husband was hospitalized for having an emergency condition that lead to his admission to the ICU for several days. Read more »
A sick little boy
God really does some amazing things .Wendy and I were wondering when God would present the opportunity to give our stimulus money,when you least expect it.
I was busy at work the other day and someone came by with a flier about a benefit fish fry and wanted to know if anyone wanted to order a dinner for Friday. I didn`t think much about it and said that I wouldn`t have the extra money. After about an hour or so, I went to the break room to wash up for lunch and the flier was taped to the door. Underprivileged kids
I’m an ordained chaplain to men incarcerated. I serve in Mobile Metro jail, Bay Minette jail, prisons from Angola Louisiana to Jacksonville Florida. From Chicago IL to New Mexico. I am also a licensed Christian counselor through NCCA working almost exclusively with men released from prison with tags placed on them by the fears of a misled society. I serve locally with Life Connections of Alabama Inc. which is a group of men wanting to make a difference in the lives of men and women released from prison and jail that need help finding jobs, homes, food etc. Read more »
Adding to pennies
I just ran across this website and was really inspired. I am not a
member of the church, but last week, I was pumping gas in
Fairhope and went inside to pay. I never go inside to pay and I
also never pay with cash at the gas station. This time, for some
