I work in Midtown Mobile right across the street from the Midtown Winn-Dixie, and it is most convenient for me, the days I don’t actually get a lunch hour, to hop across the street and grab something there. Almost every time I go, there is an elderly woman shopping in the produce section with, who I assume is her home health aide. Read more »

My best friend called me one day to tell me that she would be adding three more kids to their family. Her sister in law could not afford to take care of them. I was excited for my friend because she has a passion for children (We met working together in childcare). A week later she got the news that her sister in law couldn’t live that far away from her kids. She lives in South Carolina. It broke my friends heart that she wasn’t going to help out. Read more »
