I received my “stimulus” gift at the Saturday nite service. I knew immediately where it was supposed to go.
There is a lady in my neighborhood who has cancer. She has been traveling back and forth to M.D. Anderson. She is divorced with 2 children. The Lord had impressed upon me a few weeks ago to help her.
This was an “extra” for her, which was much needed.
Thank you, Pastor Jerry, for this awesome testimony to our communities on the gift of giving. Everyone I have shared this with has had 2 exact reactions. The first is “WOW”! The second is ” how can your church afford to give away $50,000? My reply is, how can they not? Which then opens the door to talk about how you cannot out give God, and how He blesses His faithful people. Even beyond the actual giving of the money, this has been a gift that keeps on giving as God allows me to share this principal.
