A sick little boy

God really does some amazing things .Wendy and I were wondering when God would present the opportunity to give our stimulus money, when you least expect it.
I was busy at work the other day and someone came by with a flier about a benefit fish fry and wanted to know if anyone wanted to order a dinner for Friday. I didn`t think much about it and said that I wouldn`t have the extra money. After about an hour or so, I went to the break room to wash up for lunch and the flier was taped to the door. I stopped to read it and this is what it said.
Coy Heaton is 7 years old. As a small child Coy was very sick which resulted in a stroke at 4 years old. With heart failure, kidney failure, and high blood pressure this caused Coy to have both his kidneys removed. Coy then stayed on dialysis for 7 months until he finally received a kidney transplant. Coy has had his new kidney now for 2 years in which from a recent visit to UAB childrens in Birmingham we found out that his new kidney is now failing. To put this child through another bout of dialysis and the wait for another kidney will be so strenuous on him as well as our family.
This just broke my heart. I called one of the numbers on the flier to say that I wasn`t interested in the fish dinner but wanted to make a donation.
After talking with Wendy and praying about it, we knew this is where the money was to go. We gave the stimulus money and then some. These people are not asking for donations, but they are greatly appreciated. They want to work for all they are doing for this child.
We just pray that God will heal this child and He will multiply any and all donations to help this family. We serve an awesome God!!!
