An on-going blessing
My friend and I decided to pool our money to do something to bless someone. We came up with a few ideas but neither of us really felt that God had directed us to do anything at the time. A few weeks passed and our co-worker had a very dramatic death in the family. Her sister committed suicide, leaving behind a 4 year old little boy named Gryphon. As soon as this happened, we knew that we needed to pray about what God wanted us to do. The idea came to us to do something for Gryphon. The extra cost of raising a child has been put on our co-worker and her mother, the only two people left to raise this precious child. The social workers at the hospital told the family that it was very important that Gryphon’s schedule not change dramatically. They wanted things to remain as normal as possible for him since he was so little. We prayed and decided that we would put our money towards his daycare costs. I talked to my family and between all of us, we already have a month paid! We decided to start a bank account in Gryphon’s name that the family can use to help cover the cost of his daycare! We wanted to do something that was an on-going blessing! The family is so grateful to the church for being a blessing through the people! Thank you for allowing us to sow this seed!
