Car on fire

A few weeks ago I was driving in Fairhope to run some errands. I’m 20 years old, work three jobs and I only have one day off a week. On my off days I spend all my time running around getting things done. This day I had way more stuff to do then normal, but as I was leaving Fairhope I drove past a mom with 2 kids sitting on the side of the road. I noticed her car was very smokey and her 2 kids were about 50 feet away sitting under a shady tree. I kept driving and something told me I should turn around and see if she needed help. I didn’t want to because I was so busy but I did anyways. When I got turned back around she said she was a single mom, who recently got divorced and was leaving her home in Gulf Shores to move to Mobile. With most of her belongings in her car she packed the kids up and drove away. As she made it to Fairhope she noticed her car smoking so she pulled over and when she opened the hood the car caught on fire. She raced around the side to grab her kids out and they ran away from the car and called 911. The fire department came and put out the fire and then left. She told me she had called her Ex-husband 2 hours ago when it happened and asked him to come get her and he refused. She was stuck, and she has no family here. I convinced her to get in my car and let me take them to get some lunch. It was miserably hot outside so I know the babies needed AC and Water. I got them some waters out of my car and blasted the AC as we drove to Chick-Fil-A. We drove back to her car and sat and talked while we waited on her ride to come. She was so blessed by what I had done and didn’t understand why anyone would do something like that for someone like her. I explained to her what we were doing at Bay and she gave me a huge hug and said I was an angel of a blessing. They were such a precious family and I know I blessed them but God blessed me WAY more! :)
