Destiny Hope
As I prayed about this money to help someone. I came across a family that has a 11 month old daughter. Her name is Destiny Hope Worley and she was born with Dextacardia. This means she was born with her heart on the right side of her chest and not her left. She also has two holes in her heart and several other medical conditions. My heart just poured out to her as I am a mother myself. Read more »
On time
After recieving the money to bless someone, my husband and I felt it should go to a young couple in our neighborhood. Recenty they had their second child and it was sent to UAB for heart complications. While they were in Birmingham a tornado hit their house. We have went by several times and there is never anyone home. We were unaware the damage was so great that the house cannot be fixed. Read more »
It was time
One afternoon late last week my neighbor (an occupational therapists) and I (a registered nurse) went for a walk. As we approached our homes, we began talking to a couple who were hired to do lawn work for a neighbor. As we talked, the wife told us that three weeks prior her husband was hospitalized for having an emergency condition that lead to his admission to the ICU for several days. Read more »
A sick little boy
God really does some amazing things .Wendy and I were wondering when God would present the opportunity to give our stimulus money, when you least expect it.
I was busy at work the other day and someone came by with a flier about a benefit fish fry and wanted to know if anyone wanted to order a dinner for Friday. I didn`t think much about it and said that I wouldn`t have the extra money. After about an hour or so, I went to the break room to wash up for lunch and the flier was taped to the door. I stopped to read it and this is what it said. Read more »

Adding to pennies
I just ran across this website and was really inspired. I am not a
member of the church, but last week, I was pumping gas in
Fairhope and went inside to pay. I never go inside to pay and I
also never pay with cash at the gas station. This time, for some
reason, I decided to go inside. Read more »

A tidal wave of good
My husband is coaching our youngest son’s baseball team this year and there is a precious little 8 yr. old named Zachary on the team. We knew him and his family a little bit from T-ball a couple of years ago and were excited to find out he would be on our team again. Sweet, sweet child. Always happy to play ball.
At the beginning of the season, Zach’s mom told me he may miss a few practices/games because his dad was very sick with an inoperable brain tumor. Understandable. Naturally, we’ve tried extending our hands to help, but she Read more »
Overwhelmed with God's love
When I received my envelope, right away I prayed that God would show me a sign to give it to the right person at the right time. Well it happened to a person that I least expected or prayed about…..I practically see her everyday as I drop and pick up my 1 yr. old son from a home daycare. She’s the niece of the woman that runs the daycare. She came to work there after the woman’s husband passed away and really stepped in nurturing the children. She’s around 18 or so, and what an amazing girl to give so much love to many kids every day. Read more »
Bike problems
So I’ve been waiting over a week now for my big AHA moment to give away my envelope that has been in the visor of my car. You know waiting for that great God intervention moment. It came but in such a simpler way than I imagined. I was vacuuming my car at a local gas station when along comes this teenager to put air in the tire of his bike. Over the sound of the vacuum I hear a very loud pop; the tire tube had popped too much air. In that moment I’m thinking to myself, I really need to help this kid, but I have no cash and there is no store nearby to buy a new tube. Read more »
