Hello Bay Community

I got all the letters from all those people from church and I figured the best way to respond and let people know how much they mean to me and my guys is to write you. A little background on myself for the people who will one day meet me and the old friends that will be catching up with me. I grew up in south Alabama going to Bay Community. I was there when the church was built. I can remember hurting myself playing basketball at the old church and Melanie Taylor running out to momma’s car with a bag of frozen popsicles for the pain haha!! Anyways, I ended up moving to Silverhill, going to Central Christian. I got really big into sports, and had multiple opportunities to go play college soccer or baseball. But instead I started hanging out with the wrong crowd doing all the wrong things at all the wrong times and places. I look back now and remember all the things I used to do and I actually thank God for keeping me out of trouble for all those years. I feel like God wanted me to learn from my mistakes on my own. Me and my family attended the Sunday middle service, and like many people were surprised by the outcome of the money in the envelopes. It was a good encouragement to do something good for someone, but in my case God wanted our family to bless 6 families. As soon as we received the envelopes God had told me to take what ever we got and multiply it by a certain number and that would be the amount to seperate to the 6 people. After carefully seeking direction from God, the donation was given to a ministry I know in South America. They are working on purchasing the building they are currently renting. This building serves not just as a temple for church meetings but also as a home for orphans, abused and abandoned mothers. This ministry also Read more »

My story is that through prayer, God has placed in my path the person in need, she is sick with cancer and is all alone in this country and is in great need to pay for her treatments. I ask that we all may be constantly praying for her. May God bless you, I would like to thank you for this economic blessing and may God multiply it! Thanks again.

Brothers may God bless you; I personally want to thank you for blessing others. I had been praying that God would place the person needing this money in my path. It was a young lady who unfortunately has cancer and very little time left to live and does not have sufficient funds for her treatments. I thank you again and ask that you are praying for her, for God to manifest in her life in a great way. Read more »

After Pastor Ricardo gave us the envelope with money in it, he told us that we could not give it back to the church or use it personally. I went home and gave it to my cousin and his wife. It was their wedding anniversary that day and I gave it to them to use to celebrate their special day with their children since they are very pressed for money and did were not going to be able to do anything special.

When we prayed about the envelope a young family came to my mind. I prayed for reassurance and the right time to share God’s Stimulus money with this family. They are unchurched, young with 2 small children. One afternoon I shared with them about God’s Stimulus money and told them the envelope was for them. “But it hasn’t been opened” she said. “I know” I said, “it’s for you, not me or us”. Read more »

Decided to double it

My husband and I both were at the money give away service so before I opened the envelope, I decided to double it. It turned out we both got 40.00. I decided to round mine up to an even 100.00 but then it took me about a week and a half to decide where it should go. My husband gave his 40.00 to a couple of blind people that ran a very small concession stand in his office building. Read more »
