Bay Community Church Gives Stimulus. Daphne, Alabama

Local Church Gives Congregation Cash to Give to Needy.
Sunday as the congregation attended a local church, the pastor gave each person attending the four services an envelope with $20.00 to $100.00 enclosed. The only stipulation is that the money cannot be kept by the individual, nor can it be given back to the church; the money is to be given to someone in need. In this economy, people are hurting and the church even though contributions are low would like to show that we all can give something to help our neighbors.
Angela was given $20.00 to give to a needy person. She gave the money to a friend who is a single mother raising two boys and is struggling to maintain her household. On Memorial Day, her friend took her boys to get ice cream as a special treat.
Angela is passing it forward with her own cash by sending her three children $20.00 each to give to a needy person just as the church did. Allison, Reynaud, and A.J. will give the cash to any person of their choosing who is in need. And they may choose to pass it forward in their own personal way by giving cash, food, or helping someone in need. The simplest thing as opening a door for a senior or assisting with carrying something heavy for a person can put a smile on the face of an individual who is facing problems at this time. Just take the time to say hello to a person you would normally ignore.

Pass It Forward. We Have So Much To Be Grateful For. Be a Cheerful Giver.

  1. Thats what its all about. Not about the money we were given but the way we live. Always looking for an opportunity to be generous and to teach our children to be generous too.
