There was a little boy I taught in second grade and then I was fortunate enough to once again teach him in fourth grade this past year. The tragedy is that his mother was murdered, and that left his little brother and little sister and him alone. The children are being taken care of by their great grandmother and their grandmother who has cancer. I grew to be close with his mother and his great grandmother through the year I taught him second grade. There was a trust fund set up for the children and that is where the money was placed. I really felt that the money could help the children in the future whether it be for school or just necessities. thank you for alowing us to bless others.

After carefully seeking direction from God, the donation was given to a ministry I know in South America. They are working on purchasing the building they are currently renting. This building serves not just as a temple for church meetings but also as a home for orphans, abused and abandoned mothers. This ministry also has a radio station that plays not just Christian music and preaching but also secular music (with clean content) and family oriented programs seeking to reach the not just the Christian community but the unsaved souls as well. They have a thankful heart and appreciated the help very much!

Brothers may God bless you; I personally want to thank you for blessing others. I had been praying that God would place the person needing this money in my path. It was a young lady who unfortunately has cancer and very little time left to live and does not have sufficient funds for her treatments. I thank you again and ask that you are praying for her, for God to manifest in her life in a great way. May God multiply one hundred percent the money you have given and may He pour out His blessings over you and the whole church family. May God bless you today, tomorrow and always!

Where she lives, Tula, Tamaulipas – Mexico, employment is scarce. She was offered a job by a teacher and makes very little and has to leave her children with their elderly grandparents. She does not know what to do because her two oldest children finish school this year and she does not have money for all the expenses only for food. I went home and gave it to my cousin and his wife. It was their wedding anniversary that day and I gave it to them to use to celebrate their special day with their children since they are very pressed for money and did were not going to be able to do anything special.

A few days after receiving the money envelope I spoke with my sister who lives in Puebla, Mexico by phone. She told me how on her way to the store one day recently she’d met a boy and his mother on the street. She asked what was wrong with the boy since he was obviously loosing all his hair and looked sickly. His mother was grieved and said she did not know, the boy had started to loose his hair and had been having such high fevers that would lead to convulsions. Being a single mother of 4 she did not have money or transportation to take him to a doctor even for an initial consultation. My sister turned to the my other sisters living in Puebla and they offered to pay for the consultation and offered transportation to the correct doctor/specialist about an hour or more away. So my husband and I offered to send the money the church gave us for this boy’s needs. So far we have heard my sisters are taking him fruits and meats, which he likes to eat and he has already had a consultation with the specialist and he will begin studies on the boy to find out what is wrong with him…praise God we were able to help this boy all the way in my home-town, we feel so thankful to Bay Community!

I decided to wait another week and keep praying to find the person that God would indicate I help. Sunday we went to visit a family in this community, Tony, Rosa and their precious daughter Rosario. We shared with them around 30 minutes. We were very grateful for their attention and hospitality. Tony has been unemployed for 6 months now, Rosa cannot work at the moment (they have a toddler and a baby on the way), and besides they tend to a sick person in a wheel chair. We shared God’s word with them and they showed great interest in it. Rosa is thirsty for God and shows a great interest to be an example to her kids. In gratitude for the blessing of the money they visited us today Wednesday and have promised to attend church with us this coming Sunday.
